Ethan Racing in Cork

CECC riders succeed at the weekend

Two CECC Cyclists gave incredible accounts of themselves over the weekend.  Ethan Fleville and John Heverin both had fantatsic rides in the Cork 3 Day and the Tour of Ulster respectively.

Fleville has had a good season to date and providing that he continues in this rich vain of form will no doubt experience future success at the very highest level for his age category.

Heverin also rode very well in the prestigious Tour of Ulster as part of Team Mid Ulster and will be hard to beat in both time trails and road races as the season progresses.

Elsewhere, CECC also had Barry Grimes and Jerome Donnelly riding in the Hugo Loughran GP in Eglish, County Tyrone last Friday night.

Tour of Ulster 2015

Clann Eireann cyclist John Heverin will ride the prestigious Tour of Ulster which starts this weekend with a prologue time trial at Stormont Buildings in Belfast.

Hundreds of cyclists from Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales and Europe will race on Northern Irish roads this weekend in what promises to be a fantastic weekend of racing. Heverin will ride as a member of a strong Mid Ulster selection team comprising of Adam Armstrong, Davy McKnight, ...Darren Lynas and Paul Wilkinson.

As a time trial specialist, Heverin will no doubt give a very good account of himself in the opening stage at Stormont and throughout the weekend as the stage races unfold in what will be a very competitive racing field.

In other news, U16 Clann Eireann rider Ethan Fleville achieved the best result of his season so far by snatching 2nd place at the weekend in the Mid Ulster GP in Cookstown Co. Tyrone. Fleville was just pipped at the post by Harvey Barnes who is another promising young rider to look out for in the near future.
