NB:  Can all members please ensure that they adhere to this Rota for the 2015 ICL racing season so that all races ran by CECC are appropriately Marshalled, making them safe for everyone in the ICL.

If you are not available to Marshall at a Road Race (RR) or Time Trial (TT) on the night that you have been designated by the ICL representatives (John Heverin, Michael Murray Junior, Barry McConville) please try and arrange someone from the club to cover in your absence, e.g. swap nights with a club mate.

Remember to keep people at the club informed of your availability or otherwise and that it is your responsibility to arrange cover in your absence, No Marshall’s, No Races!!!

Cahoon does it again in Omagh

Clann Compete in Crumlin

Clann compete at Crumlin

CECC were very well represented in the recent David McCall Series Youth Time Trials in Crumlin, County Antrim.

The Clann had young Teelin Cahoon competing in the U12 TT, followed by Ruiari Grimes and Ciaran Cahoon in the U14 event.  Last off for the Clann was Peadar Quinn who rode in the U16 TT.  All of the Youth riders gave a good account of themselves on the day on what should prove to be a very useful marker for the rest of the racing season.

Ciaraon Cahoon achieved a brilliant result in the youth races in Omagh, County Tyrone on Sunday, taking first place in the U14 road race.  The club would like to congratulate Ciaran on his achievement and wish him and the rest of the youth riders the very best of good luck for their forthcoming races.

The Inter Club League (ICL) will resume Tuesday 14/04/15 (tomorrow night) with a 5 mile TT on the Farlough Road at 7pm sharp.

Clann Eireann Cycling Club enjoyed success at the recent PJ Logan Races held in Coalisland, County Tyrone.

Best for the Clann on the day was Ciaran Cahoon who came second in the U14 event while Ethan Fleville, Peadar Quinn and Joseph Flavelle all rode very well in the U16 event.  Teelin Cahoon also had a good ride, placing 6th in the U12 race.

The Clann also had John Heverin and Jerome Donnelly in the senior races on what was a busy day of racing on the figure 8 circuit around Coalisland.
